A medium-hot Jalapeno-style chile from Mexico that is 2-3" long and 1 1/4" wide with medium-thick flesh. The fruit is borne on a short, upright growing plant and the fruit is very pungent. Fresno chiles are used primarily in salsas. Red when ripe.
