Alma Paprika
Like all great paprika peppers this productive strain originated in Hungary. This is the best choice for drying and grinding in to paprika spice. They are also great eaten fresh (even at the white stage) as they are crisp and juicy with a spicy bite. It makes a great seasoning for everything from eggs to pot roast to Italian food. Delicious in stews, cassaroles and soups. This thick fleshed pepper is sweet-hot and turns color from ivory to bright red.
