BEAN
Cascade Giant (Pole)

A fine variety for the home gardener, yielding a profusion of 8-10" straight, dark green pods mottled with purple. Great for canning. This stringless selection from the Oregon Giant Pole bean is fairly drought tolerant and adaptable to cool, damp weather.

Suggestions: Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants after thinning.
