--------------------------------------------

It's almost time to start sowing seeds! It's hard to believe, but the onions and leeks will need to be started in a week or so. Seeds of Change was completely sold out of the Winter Giant Leeks I ordered, so I re-ordered them from a different store and they haven't come yet. I will probably have to sow them as soon as I get them. I also have American Flag leeks and red and yellow onions.

--------------------------------------------

I've been busy ordering seeds and getting the Web site updated. It's almost ready. I've added all the new vegetables and herbs I'll be growing this year. I still need to update the Resources section because I found a few new places to buy seeds — Totally Tomatoes, R.H. Shumway and Garden Trails (they carry the complete line of Botanical Interests seeds).

I'm excited about the coming season and what it will bring. The cicada invasion ruined my garden experience last year (as you can tell by the drop off of posts after May 2004) and I only ended up growing some things in pots and containers near the house. I didn't even touch the actual garden area, so that means I'll have even more work in a few months to get it all ready.
