--------------------------------------------

This is the bench that I built in the Solarium. More...
Today, I cleaned out the Solarium. I didn't clean everything (windows, etc.), but it is so much better than it was before. I found an old shelf that we took out of our bedroom closet (walk-in) and propped it up on 3 4x8x16 blocks that I had left over from when I built my raised beds last year. It actually looks really good and now the plants are off of the cold floor and at a better height in front of the window. I have the 2 Thai Hot peppers that I pruned, a Knock-Out shrub rose that I never got around to planting this year, a Persian Lime tree (it's only about a foot and a half high and hasn't produced fruit yet), a Curry Leaf tree (used in Indian cooking) and a leftover Pointsettia.

Now, I just need to get some more plants to go in there (tropicals, small trees) and it will look pretty good. The heater in there really keeps it at a good temperature for Lily (the cat) and the plants. I measured the walls and think my seedstarting shelf will fit in there nicely as well.
